1. Vintage Chaise Lounge

The vintage chaise lounge is a timeless piece that can elevate any room in your dollhouse. This project is ideal for intermediate to advanced miniaturists, but even beginners can master it with patience and attention to detail.

  • Glue and hot glue gun

  • Paint or stain

  • Fabric (foam or batting optional)

  • Trims (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cut Pieces: Upload and cut your SVG files for the chaise lounge. Be sure to check that the 1" square for scale is correct before cutting.

 Additional Tips for Success:

  • Scaling: Always double-check that your scale is correct before cutting. This ensures all the pieces will fit together seamlessly.

  • Patience: When working with small pieces, take your time during the assembly to avoid errors.

  • Personalization: Don’t hesitate to personalize these pieces with your favorite fabric patterns, colors, and trims to match your dollhouse style.

 Common Mistakes to Avoid:

  • Incorrect Cutting Material: Make sure you’re using the right type of chipboard or material that suits your cutting machine, and has the right thickness.

  • Overusing Glue: A little glue goes a long way. Too much can cause pieces to slip or warp. And make sure to allow for ample dry time for your glue to properly set.
